This is weird. I just logged off completely and logged back in without getting such prompting. I've got these permissions right now: Access public repositories Read org and team membership Access user email addresses (read-only) It's pretty much expected that it wants to check email address given it checks it in our commit authorship, rest is pretty much public already as far as I know.
