Community packages of nfs-ganesha-2.5.1 for a several popular Linux
distributions are available.
For Fedora 26 and Fedora 27 (rawhide), packages are in the Updates or
UpdatesTesting repository. Use dnf to install or update. After a nominal
testing period the packages in UpdatesTesting will be promoted to the
Updates repository.
For Fedora 25 packages, are on download.gluster.org at [1].
For Debian Jessie/8, Stretch/9, and Buster/10 (a.k.a. Sid), packages are
on download.gluster.org at [1].
For Ubuntu Xenial/16.04, Zesty/17.04, and Artful/17.10, packages are in
in Ubuntu Launchpad at [2]
For SuSE SLES 12 and Leap42, packages are in OpenSuSE Build Service at [3].
Packages should also appear soon for RHEL and CentOS in the CentOS
Storage SIG at [4].
All packages have at least FSAL_VFS, FSAL_XFS, FSAL_MEM, and the other
basic FSALs. Most have FSAL_GLUSTER (use GlusterFS 3.10 or 3.11), and
several have FSAL_CEPH (use Ceph 10.2.7 or later). Exactly which FSALS
are provided depends on whether the platform has the necessary
prerequisites. If you believe that a platform has the prerequisites for
a FSAL but the FSAL hasn't been built, open an issue at [5].
