I checked my nfsen.conf file, the web user is 'apache' and the group is 'apache'. I double checked that the httpd is configured to run as that user, and it is (checking the running processes also shows that httpd is running as 'apache').
I did the following to test that the 'apache' user could run the 'nfsen' command, with the results shown: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# su apache bash-3.00$ /data/nfsen/bin/nfsen -q -A live OK Listing complete bash-3.00$ -Brent ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- From: Peter Haag <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Mon, 06 Nov 2006 13:43:48 +0100 >-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- >Hash: SHA1 > > > >- -------- Original Message -------- >From: "Brent Schultz" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: [email protected] >Subject: [Nfsen-discuss] <No profiles available> >Date: Sat Nov 04 2006 00:24:16 GMT+0100 (CET) > >> NFSen is collecting data and I get graphs on all of the tabs (including the >> details tab), but the 'Selected profile' box in the corner only displays >> '<No profiles available>'. >> >> I also noticed that I'm unable to edit the live profile using the stats tab >> (the profile is unlocked and I changed the owner of profile.dat to >> apache:apache); it returns 'ERROR: Command failed: !'. >> >> When I run '/data/nfsen/bin/nfsen -q -A' it does list the available >> profile(s) (I only have 'live' since the 'new profile' option is not >> present). > >If nfsen -A return the current profile list, then your webserver (uid) is not >allowed to run nfsen commands. >Check for correct uid settings/groups in nfsen.conf and make sure your >webserver can run commands.
