Hi,
Just to share my setup for PortTracker.
I am using:
i) nfdump snapshot-20070312
ii) nfsen snapshot-20070312
iii) rrdtool-1.2.23
iv) PortTracker-snapshot-20070306
1) When compiling PortTracker using do-compile, I encountered issue with
fts.h. I follow the instructions here to remove those lines:
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=45ED2CA0.5020004%40romtelecom.ro
2) When running the nftrack, my Linux unable to detect the file "librrd.so.2"
even though the RRDLIB path specify in the do_complie is correct. I add the
rrdtool path in /etc/ld.so.conf and run the command ldconfig to get the path
dynamically updated. After that I am able to run nftrack command without any
problem.
3) I cannot see the plugins or graph on the webpage even though I can see
the files on my ports-db dir is updated every 5mins. I copy the
PortTracker.php and PortTracker.pm to /usr/local/nfsen/plugins. The
PortTracker.php file should go to the frontend directory:
/var/www/html/nfsen/plugins. There is no error on file is missing :P
Now I can see PortTracker is up and running.
Andy
