Hello Werner,

I hope to be contributing with a plugin this winter (but it needs more
polishing before it can be released).

As far as mailing list versus forum - I would chose the forum (with an
optional wiki to store the most relevant information), but I'm not against
the mailing list - because it let's me get in touch faster.
