Hi Gaudenz, This is a known "bug" or not so nice feature for package maintainers. I do not want to completely change the installation procedure for NfSen 1.x If you think, it could be easily separated, and there still is a resulting install.pl which runs everything in sequence, feel free to send me patches. However, moving setup into the base system may have a to big impact.
