Hi guys,

I'm using nfSen alerts to trigger a plugin on certain traffic patterns. The
plugin runs nfdump to report what traffic was triggered and sends an email and
snmp-trap. I have been using the alert name field to pass info along to the
back-end plugin script.. scaling this becomes a bit messy so I want to solve it.

1) I want to pass two variables from alerts to the back-end plugin/script.

a. What condition(s) triggered the alert.

b. The condition value(s).

2) I want to pass one or more custom fields.

I read through the plugin writers guide and searched the mailing list and some
forum posts for similar requests but I haven't found the solution. Any
recommendations how to solve this? Are the condition variables already
available? (if so I wasn't able to find them).
