Hey all,
I'm trying to get started with nfsen but the install.pl script is failing
for me with no errors. I've tried poking around the installation script &
helper modules (although I don't speak Perl ...), as well as
trial-and-error modifying the config file, but to no avail. I'm stumped.
This is the output from the install.pl script:
12:49:45 root ~/nfsen-1.3.8% ./install.pl etc/nfsen.conf
Check for required Perl modules: All modules found.
Errors in config file:
12:49:46 root ~/nfsen-1.3.8%
It looks like it's intended that some clues should be written after the
"Errors in config file:" line, but as you can see ... I get nothing.
Can someone help point me in the right direction?
Pastebin of the full config file is here: https://pastebin.com/STPpA162
Pastebin of my system information is here (tl;dr: Ubuntu 17.04, prereq's
are installed): https://pastebin.com/LQnnQs4B
Thanks in advance,
Will
P.S. The nfsen.conf config file terminates with a trailing "1;". Idk if
that's a typo, intended, or does nothing. It's part of the nfsen-dist.conf,
so I left it in mine.
P.P.S. The nfsen-dist.conf uses a sources definition which includes an 'IP'
field which is undocumented. I'm guessing that's for specifying the address
on which to listen to, not needed, but Peter, if you're able to clarify
and/or update the documentation it'd be very helpful.
