Hello,

I've seen some hints in in the mailing list archive that suggest that the
development of NfSen is still going on. Does anybody know whether this is the
case?

I am asking this question because I have looked at the source code of nfdump,
performed some testing and profiling, and I think it can be a lot faster. By
making use of multiple cores and SIMD constructions, some parts could be
boosted. The disks are not the bottleneck in my tests, which they should be in
my opinion.

Is anybody in the community already doing this kind of development? Do you guys
have ideas or suggestions to possible optimizations?

Kind Regards,

Gijs Rijnders
