Hi,

we're running nfsen 1.3.8 on Debian with nfdump 1.6.17 (right now, but
it has happened with earlier nfdump versions as well)

Since we have upgraded Debian Jessie to Debian Stretch there is one
recurring issue (probably caused by an upgrade of the Perl interpreter).
We have defined an alert that triggers on a threshold of number of flows
and sends an email. When this alert triggers, the nfsend-comm process
sends the mail, then dies with the following message in the log

Jun 13 09:40:32 flowbert nfsen[21058]: PANIC nfsend dies: Can't locate
object method "tid" via package "threads" at
/usr/share/perl/5.24/XSLoader.pm line 114.

After that the web interface is not showing any data until nfsen has
been restarted.

Has anyone seen the same and made a fix?

Thanks,
Bernhard

P.S.: Is there any ongoing work to migrate nfsen to Github (or Gitlab or
whatever) as well?
