This person was seated in seat 25D (or 25E?). Flight number DL0757* *There was a man sitting behind me. I was having a conversation with the person sitting next to me while eating. Suddenly, the man sitting behind me barks at me, “Boy!” (Yes he called me BOY!) “Are you aware of FAA regulations that your mask must remain on at all times?!” I turn around and say “Boy! Are you aware of FAA regulations that masks can come off while you’re eating?” * *He goes “What’d you say to me?!?!” Then he goes “No you’re not gonna be eating whenever you damn please! You can eat through your mask!” I knew I was about one word away from getting into a fist fight with this guy so I just said “Thank you Karen”, and bit my tongue.* *Then the plane lands... About half the plane gets off. We’re seated in the back few rows. A young (very sweet, innocent looking) heavyset man who was visibly disabled, was standing in the aisle. He was in the last row. He was NOT blocking anything or anyone, he was NOT the least bit in anyone’s way. * *The same guy from before barks at him: “Excuse me! Go back to your seat right now!”* *The disabled man says “Oh I just have to use the bathroom”. The asshole goes “Did I tell you you could do that?!?! I’m an FAA agent. Delta has put me on this flight to enforce the rules” (At this point he showed what I assume was his license. The entire time he is BARKING at people like a drill sergeant). He then says “You want me to have you banned from all Delta flights?! I can do it so fast your head will spin!”* *By now, the disabled man looks like he’s about to cry. (At this point I started to take a video but my phone died!!) He’s shaking his legs, clearly badly needing to use the bathroom. He says “Oh... okay...” and sits down.* *And then the most egregious thing happened: It’s quiet for a minute. Then suddenly, the asshole turned his head back towards the disabled man and yells, “Should I do it anyway?! I can do it anyway!” (Get him banned). That was what really disgusted me the most. Because it’s clearly not because this man is breaking any rules or bothering anyone. You are there BULLYING A DISABLED MAN in your capacity as a supposed representative of Delta and/or the FAA, threatening to punish him for not kissing the ring.* *He then started screaming at an older woman who was standing by her seat. He barked at her “Sit down!!!”* *At this point, the disabled man’s mother said something to him. I couldn’t hear what. The next thing I hear is the asshole scream to the flight attendant, “Ma’am! This man just physically threatened me!!” He then turns to him and goes “You just physically threatened an FAA agent!!! Oh you’re fucked now!”* *I didn’t hear what this was in response to, but the man and his mother were sitting — about 3 rows behind him — the kid was extremely meek, he was disabled, and there is absolutely NO WAY in hell he threatened this psycho!* *At this point I’m being rushed off the plane. The last thing I heard the asshole say is “Who do you think you’re talking to? I’m not a fucking Trump supporter!!”* *At that point, I turned around, and in my most cutesy sing-songy voice, said “I ammmmmm!”, and strutted off the plane.* *I really wish I took more of a stand, and I’m disappointed in myself that I didn’t. I could tell it was about to get ugly if I opened my big mouth, and I was honestly afraid of getting banned from the airline I fly on EVERY WEEK!* *This guy was a MANIAC! I have been traveling since I was a child and I have never in my life witnessed anything like this on a plane. Delta, I would like to know who this person was, what his job is, and in what capacity was he on this flight? (I was seat 24D, he was seated directly behind me.) This is totally unacceptable.
