We have added this so as to do Round robin among the upstreams running the same 
version as the version of the upstream where the client's mail account resides 
(which i agree is again specific to us). Although i didn't include our changes 
in ngx_http_upstream_round_robin.c (as its based on our implementation of how 
the 'version' string looks like), i thought atleast the generic change of 
supporting 'version' in server directive can be used upstream by nginx too ?
