My recommendations would also be to a) download plone on your local machine and start playing with it and b) either learn CSS or find a CSS designer who isn't afraid of getting their hands a little dirty.
I also found the Definitive Guide to Plone by Andy McKay very helpful. It's slightly out of date, but not so much so that you can't make a dent in Plone. http://plone.org/documentation/manual Plone has a big learning curve, but it's worth the pain. There are frequent bootcamps which are highly recommended, too, so you're not out there alone. -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Starting-out-t1837905.html#a5017429 Sent from the Plone NGO forum at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ NGO mailing list [email protected] http://lists.plone.org/mailman/listinfo/ngo
