Hi, The eCampaigning Tool 0.2 Beta (aka Jon Special because the priorities for this release were largely set by his input) has been released. There has been a wide range of improvements - especially usability - added to this release. It has also been used in a low volume live environment for the past 2 weeks and works fine.
You can get it at: http://plone.org/products/ecampaigning-tool/releases/0.2 (and you'll see the change log there too) If you are interested in this product for your organisation or to offer to your clients, let me know since building a global user based and support network for this will be critical to its longer term success. Anyone who had problems installing the alpha version (due to the TALESField requirement not being documented) will find this version no longer requires TALESField. Furthermore, a 'bundle' version is also available with all the required packages included...so installation should go without a problem. This beta version is 'configured' with the best options for single campaigns, small campaigning organisations and/or individual campaigners editors. The configuration suitable for large organisations and coalitions can be set - but manually right now. We hope in the future to be able to choose up-front which configuration settings are used. A HUGE thanks to Petri who did most of the work. I just found some bugs and kept asking for more improvements and updated some documentation. If you want to try it - do it now so that your feedback can be incorporated.
