The AgriCultures Network is a global network which facilitates the
exchange of information and the generation of knowledge on small-scale
sustainable agriculture.

Its international secretariat in Amersfoort is looking for:

Website assistant volunteer

S/he will help assist with the development and maintenance of our new
website, which will go live early 2011.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and interests:
    •    Working knowledge of xhtml
    •    Experience of using photo editing software
    •    Flexibility, creativity and willingness to work as part of a team
    •    Interest and motivation in learning new software applications
    •    Experience with Plone content management system would be a plus

Obviously, the candidate should have an interest in
environmental/social issues and an affinity with the AgriCultures
Network’s mission.

This is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience, showcase
and improve your skills and expertise, and at the same time contribute
to a raising awareness about the importance of small-scale sustainable
agriculture and environmental issues.

This position will start in mid January 2011. The deadline for
application is Monday, January 3rd, 2011.

Candidates should be available for at least 8 hours per week for a
minimum of 4 months. Please not that this is an unpaid position;
however we offer an international working environment, travel
reimbursement and you will get experience of working on a larger,
changing site, and the chance to become involved in the migration to
an open source content management system.
