My opinion is, there needs to be a balance between being fair to all and cost of maintenance. If there is only one person who is maintaining the code, testing it on his/her computer and nobody can verify, how can we be sure that it really works ?
People will start to create JIRA s for the new dialect, will the Dario be able to handle that all ? So, I'd like to have it in contrib first (is there a place that suits better I don't know of?), then if it works fine move to the trunk.
