Actually "more people" its just one or two developers (if nh got accepted on SoC), each developer will receive 5K USD and the mentor receive 500 USD.
It will be way easier to receive patches with tests from someone receiving help (every student on SoC must have a mentor) and being payed for that. Its pretty hard to download nhibernate source code and "ok, lemme just add this thing" without help. Also the student will receive the money *only* if the mentor approves the work, so yes I think that's mean "more work done" Regards, -- Rafael Mueller On Wed, Mar 10, 2010 at 10:29 AM, Fabio Maulo <[email protected]> wrote: > 2010/3/10 Rafael Mueller <[email protected]> > > >> I agree that SoC its a great opportunity to bring more people to nh >> development team, so I just wanna let you know that google is accepting >> applications for the 2010 SoC edition. >> > > I hope to see more patches with tests in our JIRA. > more people is not directly proportional with more work done > over facts there not opinions > > -- > Fabio Maulo > >
