You are not alone :-) As I'm trying to use NHibernate with WCF RIA Services, LINQ is very important (I can't use another query method, otherwise, I lost all the benefits of RIA Services). For the moment, i don't know if I will continue to use NHibernate due to the issues with LINQ provider. So, i'm happy to see that someone try to improve the LINQ provider (I tried to enter the source code but it's not very easy...).
