I wish I could say something more enlightening, but I would say that
if it can be demonstrated that the existing behavior is wrong and that
the new behavior is correct across all existing tests, there is a
significant likelihood that it would be considered for inclusion.  The
patch should include unit tests and would need to be reviewed.  We
can't guarantee at any point if any particular effort will be
utilized, but we do welcome the help in improving NHibernate.  If you
put the work in and get it to the point of submitting a pull request,
we'll certainly take a look at it.  Check out "Contributor Guide.html"
in the root of the repo for related details that should help you get
started.
