Just to make sure, you added that httpModel setting in the web config right? Of course you can use Burrow from referenced assembly. but in terms of asp.net life cycle, on which phase are you trying to get the Session? For the burrow to work, the HttpModule of Burrow prepares it before and after each httprequest, but if you are trying to use Burrow even before a http request hits, - or in a separate thread, you need to call new BurrowFramework().InitWorkSpace(); to start Burrow and new BurrowFramework().CloseWorkSpace(); to end when you are done with Burrow and NHibernate in that thread.
