Check you RDBMS configuration regarding PK and FK string case sensitive.In my RDBMS "Jan" != "jan" for string comparison PK and FK (even if in general I don't use strings as POID). NH don't have nothig to do with it. BTW in our tests you can find, if I well remember, a test showing how solve your "problem".
