You can still use an id generator that still fits to you, there is nothing blocker.
If you are not satisfied, you can implement your own algorithm with it. You can also lower the maxLo, assuming you have 5 times, you shouldn't be really inserting too much (i mean 65000), just 1000 would probably do, the optimal value needs some statistics observation & simulation. It is not really logical to discuss "I want to have HiLo work like this", it is just like this, if you don't like you can implement your own, NH is flexible.
