I am using the 'middle out' approach to generate the database from the mapping file. I am just wondering whether there are any tools to create a class diagram from the mapping file. I use VS 2008 (Prof. edition) and can generate a 'class diagram' from my classes but this only contains inheritance but no associations between classes. It seems possible to expand the class and then click on each field and 'show the association'. However, this seems a bit laborious and also produces quite ugly diagrams. Are there any (cheap) tool that I can use to generate 'proper' class diagrams or even go from the class diagram to the mapping file? Looking forward to hearing from you. Many thanks in advance.
