Hi I have an entity (Person) with some properties (Name, DOB, Address) in a web application. In a web environment, the entity is loaded via Nhibernate and sent to the front end. The Nhibernate Session is then destroyed. When the user changes 1 of the properties (lets say Name), i'd like to Nhibernate to create a dynamic update query that updates only the "Name" property --> Update Person set Name = 'Robert'.
Is there any way to do this without having the load the Person entity from the DB first? The Class.Dynamic-Update wont work here because the entity has not been loaded in the new Nhibernate session and so it cannot compare which fields have changed. Any ideas?
