Looked up your NHRepository, is it coming from NCommon ? It is calling session.SaveOrUpdate() underneath.
Are your objects detached from the session, which SessionProvider are you using etc ? My guess is that the second screen just updates its values from the db to the detached obj, so you version is unchanged, check your object after the call to repository.save and before commiting the transaction, see what happens to the version number of the object (my guess it is getting updated trough the call to saveorupdate).
