I am trying to use event listeners to implement business logic plug-in for our application. Everything works fine if I edit the entity that is part of the PreUpdate event but if I want to modify another entity is where i am running into trouble. If I call Update on them nothing happens. If I call flush manually they come through but my original entites are still there and I end up in a loop.
Is this a restriction on pre insert and update events that you are not suppose to affect entities other then the one in the event? I see people using these events to create audit entries in which they create a new entity and call save. I assume new will work but I have not tried that yet. Is the restriction that you can only modify the entity at hand and add new ones? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "nhusers" group.
