Hi all,
I've been doing a bit of googling but I can't seem to find a
definitive answer on whether or not HQL currently supports the UNION
ALL keyword. I've found a few dated articles saying everything from
not at all to yes if underlying dialect supports it.
The scenario I'd like to put together is using SQL SERVER's FREETEXT
keyword (registered in custom dialect) to search entity instances
across their own and related tables, use UNION ALL, to collect all
hits then group them by Id and sort by rank (total number of hits). Is
this possible in HQL?
