I'll defend the response of Tuna. Yes, I agree, the implementation of linq is very immature compared to other frameworks. But, I think the first mail is very immature too, because he is comparing "performance" without showing the code... so the best answer is "show me the code".
He doesn't say that the implementations is "poor" because he cann't write hard where clauses, join clauses and so on. He say the "performance is bad".
