Hi I'm about to give the user in our fat client a chance to manually merge optimistic lock conflicts. If the user chooses to over write server changes (=bypass optimistic lock), the most straight forward way to me is to change the current version number to its db version. However - I'm not really sure if this is a "no-no" for other reasons?
In short terms... Manipulate the version number, will that cause some problem I don't know of?
