Hi folks,

I have just tried the ProxyGenerator (Build 1.0.0.Beta 622) to
generate my proxy-classes during compile time. I was hopefully to
improve my performance, because at large result sets with complex
references to other classes, it was obvious that proxy-building is
really expensive.

However, I've tried the ProxyGenerator with my sample class "Dummy"
and I've got an error saying:
"Could not compile the mapping document: TestGenerator.Dummy.hbm.xml"
I've changed different parts of my mapping file and after the change
from composite-id to id with generator="assigned" I was abled to run
NHPG.exe without an error.

Is it planned to extend the ProxyGenerator in future? Or am I'm
missing something?

thanks
Fred

Here is my mapping file:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<hibernate-mapping xmlns="urn:nhibernate-mapping-2.2"
namespace="TestGenerator" assembly="TestGenerator">
  <class name="Dummy" table="Dummy" lazy="true">
    <id name="Id1" column="id" type="Int32" unsaved-value="0">
      <generator class="assigned" />
    </id>

    <!-- This does not work -->
    <!--<composite-id>
      <key-property name="Id1" column="id1" type="Int32" />
      <key-property name="Id2" column="id2" type="Int32" />
    </composite-id>-->

    <property name="Name" column="name" type="String" />
    <property name="Wert" column="vorname" type="String" />

  </class>
</hibernate-mapping>
