The out of memory exception starts when w3wp.exe is consuming about 875Mb of memory. I'm not even sure it's nhibernate causing the memory consumption, but since nhibernate is the only thing showing up in the logs and the fact that the others on my company doesn't know nhibernate at all and are quite hostile towards it... it sure is gonna get the blame unless I can figure this out.
What could cause a high memory consumption like this? What's a "normal" consumption? How do I track down the problem?
