Sure, you could do something like this.  This may not compile, but shows the
idea:

public virtual string ResultTemplate
{
  get { return ResultTemplateXml.ToString(); }
  set { ResultTemplateXml=new XmlDocument( value );
}

??? XmlDocument ResultTemplateXml {get;set;}
