If you're trying to push to github full source tree, with branches and tags it will most likely fail. It takes only trunk and few branches, but not everything. I've tried it, failed. Ayende also tried it, also failed. github is saying it's their fault: http://groups.google.com/group/github/browse_thread/thread/2d6ddb6c06fac24c/5dcfb5d6dc9d687f?lnk=gst&q=NHibernate#5dcfb5d6dc9d687f.
There are few repositories on github with NHibernate, but, as I know, they are containing only trunk. However, there is another problem - most of them are updated *very* occasionally. One that is updated regularly lately is this one: http://github.com/vchekan/NHibernate So, the problem is not only to have a NH clone on github, but to have it updated. Better daily. Better full repository, not only trunk. If it will be a well-known, "official" and "default" place for it, like * http://github.com/nhibernate*, it will be simply excellent.
