Hi,
I have an entity with a lazy-loading collection. I've noticed that
loading this collection (~20 records) takes about 30ms (according to
nHib trace).
when using SQL server profiler, I see that the statement itself has a
duration of 0.
(By the way- this gets worse with larger collections: a few thousand
records take about 11000ms to load, while the query against the DB
takes 20ms to complete).
I've turned on reflection optimization (didn't seem to have any
effect).

It seems to me like this should be very simple; am I missing
something? am I doing anything wrong?
Does it really take that long to hydrate the result set?

I'm using nH 2.1.2 (with fluent nH) against a sql server 2008 DB.
thanks in advance
Jhonny
