>From everything I've found, it does not appear to be possible to indicate that part of a composite-id is generated by the database. Is this true?
If it is in fact not possible, can someone explain why not? I would think that if I could have a simple id be generated by a DB (column "ID"), why can't I then alter my schema to a compound-key (column "FOO") and use composite-id that includes "FOO" and "ID"? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "nhusers" group.
