Hi all. I normally use NHibernate for writing and reading some image/
varbinary(max) fields in SQL Server. Whatever byte[] goes in, comes
out!

But now I'm trying to write with NHibernate and read with ADO.Net.
I've noticed that what I get in ADO.Net ends with an 28 bytes, at the
beginning.

In trying to look for clues, I've noticed that the byte[] I write with
NHibernate is 45,375 (while in C# land) bytes long but if I go do a
SELECT DATALENGTH(Content) FROM blah query in SQL Server, it claims
there are 45,403 bytes.

I'm tempted to just chop off the initial 28 bytes when I read the
field with ADO.Net but I'd like to understand the issue first.

Any ideas? This is NHibernate 3.0 and 3.1.
