Hi all, Ok, I've got a situation where I've got a valid connection string, I now want to check what version of sql server the database resides on. Is there any way of doing this without creating a session/session factory? Or will I have to drop to ado.net? The reason for this is I'd like to automatically determine the NHibernate dialect.
