Hi, Doc, thank you. I've tried, but not succeeded, in getting NHibernate
and log4net to let me see the SQL, but there's no trace of the log file.
Here's the app.config file for the attempted reproducer, which fails to
either reproduce or generate a log file:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<configuration>
<configSections>
<section name="log4net"
type="log4net.Config.Log4NetConfigurationSectionHandler, log4net" />
<section name="hibernate-configuration"
type="NHibernate.Cfg.ConfigurationSectionHandler, NHibernate" />
</configSections>
<hibernate-configuration xmlns="urn:nhibernate-configuration-2.2">
<session-factory>
<property name="connection.provider">
NHibernate.Connection.DriverConnectionProvider
</property>
<property name="dialect">
NHibernate.Dialect.MsSql2008Dialect
</property>
<property name="connection.driver_class">
NHibernate.Driver.SqlClientDriver
</property>
<property name="connection.connection_string">
Server=.; Initial Catalog=NHibernateReproducer; Integrated
Security=SSPI
</property>
<property name="show_sql">
true
</property>
<property name="proxyfactory.factory_class">
NHibernate.ByteCode.Castle.ProxyFactoryFactory,
NHibernate.ByteCode.Castle
</property>
<mapping assembly="NHibernateReproducer" />
</session-factory>
</hibernate-configuration>
<log4net>
<appender name="sqlTrace" type="log4net.Appender.FileAppender">
<file value="SQL Trace.log" />
<appendToFile value="true" />
<layout type="log4net.Layout.PatternLayout">
<conversionPattern value="%date %-5level %logger :
%message%newline" />
</layout>
</appender>
<logger name="NHibernate.SQL" additivity="false">
<level value="DEBUG" />
<appender-ref ref="sqlTrace" />
</logger>
</log4net>
</configuration>
Any hints on what I'm doing wrong here?
