I can testify that New Zealand is nice. Lots of folks come down and rent motorcycles there or they ship there own down. Beautiful scenery everywhere and, except in the three biggest cities; Auckland (1.3M), Wellington (350K) and Christchurch (350K), you will have most of it to yourself.
