Getting 13.2 volts at 5000 rpm could be correct : it depends on the 
battery. What you should check is the current.
It is possible that the bike charges correctly with another rectifier / 
regulator than the original Shindengen one which, in my opinion, is a bad 
regulator not protected enough and which, in any cases, doesn't survive a 
stator failure. If you want to change your rectivier / regulator, I suggest 
buying a compatible one at Electrosport (US) or Electrex (UK).
