Except for the carbs, you shouldn't have special problems with the engine. 
Change the oil in the engine and the cardan drive as soon as you get it 
(don't start it with old oil). Change the lookheed oil in the front brake. 
Check if the front brake is OK : rubber o rings and hoses get worn just by 
the weight of years. If you have a doubt, ask a professionnal mechanic to 
check the front brake : you really need it to stop the bike. You can 
whitstand an engine failure, not a front brake failure. The rear brake is 
an old fashion brake which has no problem with time.
