ooh nice, except for the dent. But I suppose looking for 25yr old parts there
are going to be a few dents.

You've got access to parts? What about a fuel tank? Always on the lookout for a
cheap tank in better condition than my own.

Angela,
I have access to a near complete 650. If you need a footpeg let me know which
one and I can get it (the whole peg) for about $5. I just got one for my 85 700
for that price. The 650 is an 83 but footpegs should not matter. Let me know.

Oops, I was off. Well, I've found that if you find the price and part number on
hondaparts-direct.com or any of the other bike wholesalers, you can take that
part# into the local stealership and they'll do what they can to try and match
the online price. I'd give that a try if you want to go with OEM parts. I
wouldn't want to go too cheap on something like foot pegs.

no, it's a '93. But I was looking through a catalog         (JC Whitney) saw
several pegs. I think I want to replace it with something chrome/rubber but I
can't tell what will fit. None of them are specifically for my bike but I know
sometime  parts come universal. How can I find different ones all together
without it costing an arm and a leg?

I guessed your bike was an '83, is that correct? It was Rubber, Footpeg

The ones for other years shouldn't vary by too much.

The parts lookup on hondaparts-direct.com shows the rubber piece sold
separately for $6.49. I'm not sure what the trick is for actually getting it on
the peg tho.

Hey Nighthawk Fam,
                                                            The rubber piece on
my left foot peg seems to be coming off. Would I need to replace the whole peg
or is there a way to replace just the rubber part?
