But I suppose looking for 25yr old parts there are going to be a few dents. -Kyle On Sat, Sep 27, 2008 at 8:19 AM, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: See ebay Item 310085538160 On Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 10:08 AM, Kyle Munz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: You've got access to parts? If you need a footpeg let me know which one and I can get it (the whole peg) for about $5. I just got one for my 85 700 for that price. The 650 is an 83 but footpegs should not matter. Let me know. Thanks! ----- Original Message ---- From: Kyle Munz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, September 24, 2008 11:27:41 PM Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] Re: Foot pegs Oops, I was off. Well, I've found that if you find the price and part number on hondaparts-direct.com or any of the other bike wholesalers, you can take that part# into the local stealership and they'll do what they can to try and match the online price. I'd give that a try if you want to go with OEM parts. I wouldn't want to go too cheap on something like foot pegs. -Kyle On Wed, Sep 24, 2008 at 11:16 PM, Angela <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: no, it's a '93. But I was looking through a catalog (JC Whitney) saw several pegs. I think I want to replace it with something chrome/rubber but I can't tell what will fit. None of them are specifically for my bike but I know sometime parts come universal. How can I find different ones all together without it costing an arm and a leg? It was Rubber, Footpeg 50661-425-670 The ones for other years shouldn't vary by too much. -Kyle On Wed, Sep 24, 2008 at 9:06 PM, Angela <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: which part is it,(name of it) Kyle? I don't see anything for 6.49 ----- Original Message ---- From: Kyle Munz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, September 24, 2008 9:25:26 PM Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] Re: Foot pegs The parts lookup on hondaparts-direct.com shows the rubber piece sold separately for $6.49. I'm not sure what the trick is for actually getting it on the peg tho. -Kyle On Wed, Sep 24, 2008 at 8:20 PM, Angela <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Hey Nighthawk Fam, The rubber piece on my left foot peg seems to be coming off. Would I need to replace the whole peg or is there a way to replace just the rubber part? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
