It's plug and play. Electrex sells fully compatible regulators: the external size is different, but it can be screwed in place with the two screws, no problem. I will see for the stator, I guess it will come with the usual six plugs connector compatible with the regulator. Electrosport (USA) also sells compatible regulators.
