OK fellow Nighthawk lovers I need to ask a huge favor. I've looked for the last 5+ years to find a National Cycle Plexifairing 3 for my '86 700SC. I know they made them 'cause I saw one in a moto mag I have from '88 doing a shootout on touring bikes. I contacted NC but they told me they'd been out since the early 90's. I know the reason for this is the NH "S" was never really thought of as a touring bike & so they probably didn't make & sell a whole lot of them. I had a '83 NH 650 with one of these on & the difference was night & day! It figures that they still make them for the 650 too (LOL)! I've tried every new bike parts place online with no success. I know the only way I could ever find one is used (parting out, bike recycler, etc.). If anyone ever comes across one I would reeeeeeally appreciate a heads up! I modified a Slipstreamer SS-21 & installed it on my NH "S" but, my head is still bug bait (YUK)! Thank y'all in advance take care & ride safe, Jim
