I'm ashamed to admit it but I used a spray can. Looks fine after 10 years.
Practice ? spray the underside. Good luck.

Cool. I have a compressor and a cheap paint gun that came with it.
I've been tempted to try painting something.

What would be nice would be to find another rear cowl I could practice
on :-)

be compatible with the plastic or you will have an even bigger problem. I used a
paint made for modeling on both the rear cowl (tail piece) and turn signal
bodies. Both have held up well. At least matching black is easy...LOL

VW's and doesn't harm plastic. (the VF11 is black/red/silver)
