Well,  you may think it's crazy because people think that Europe is a 
reality, but to take a bike in one of the European countries to another one 
can be a real mess for the papers. Yeah I can take my car and a trailor and 
in the afternoom go and fetch a bike in Italy with nobody at the frontier 
even asking any question. But it can take month to succeed to get papers 
for riding it on a french road... if it works.

Sometimes it works, sometimes not, because the technical rules are 
different from country to country, with administration jealous for their 
power over citizens. We get crazy with this here : Europe is only for big 
corporations, not for citizens.
