I have my '85 Nighthawk up on the frame stand and a set of 2X4 blocks under the engine the long ways, back to the oil drain plug. It is pretty stable and I did this to get both wheels and the forks off for rework. Will take the pipes off next for clean up. \ Of course it's in my garage and don't have any children around. Have several large dogs that call the garage their home on colder nights though.
