It was incredible to me when I agreed to work on one for a friend, that I had 
to take out the complete intake and exhaust manifolds to get the starter out!
I think it was the starter.  But then the Chevvy Chevette was another one:  If 
you didn't have special tools, you couldn't get to the brake master cylinder or 
power booster without removing the intake and I don't remember what else.

This Renault (named Dauphine here), was a bad car. It was a stupid idea 
from Renault to try to sell it in the USA. It was so bad that, now, it 
costs a lot as a collector car because everybody junked them.
