I had a 60's Ford stationwagon and the heater blower motor went out on it. To
get at it, you would have had to drop the complete heater/AC unit, discharge
the AC system, etc.............. Unless:

With the replacement blower motor was a template and these instructions:
Remove the right front wheel.
Look for a stamped indentation in the in the wheel well liner that looks like
the included replacement cover.
Cut out said indentation/hole to gain access to the blower motor.
Replace the blower motor.
Use the included "hole cover" and gasket to cover the hole you cut. Attach
with screws provided.
Replace the well.

It all went very well!

It was incredible to me when I agreed to work on one for a friend, that I had
to take out the complete intake and exhaust manifolds to get the starter out!
I think it was the starter. But then the Chevvy Chevette was another one:
If you didn't have special tools, you couldn't get to the brake master cylinder
or power booster without removing the intake and I don't remember what else.

This Renault (named Dauphine here), was a bad car. It was a stupid idea
from Renault to try to sell it in the USA. It was so bad that, now, it
costs a lot as a collector car because everybody junked them.
