Welcome to the group. I am from Prairie du Sac, WI home of the famous "eagle watching days." It is cold enough that you get pretty uncomfortable outside in a few minutes. I bought my 650 Nighthawk last summer also. Painted the bike in Fall and now am getting it fined tuned to miserly consume it's gas in 2009. It was getting 51 mpg with a rider on flat roads which I think is pretty good for a 24 year old bike.
